We all have that one (maybe two or three) items in our closet that remind us of a special moment in time. This jumpsuit takes me back to NYFW where I attended Olivia Palermo’s fashion show at Banana Republic. Read post here.
I found it at a local vintage shop and knew this was a piece that I would wear several times for years to come. I wanted to showcase two ways to style this jumpsuit with two of my favorite thrifted coats.

I wore this coat last year and because of the very few days of really cold weather here I barely get to wear many of my coats but this one I made sure to wear it before it was too late. On my previous post I styled this coat with red pants to create a look similar to a suit but this time adding it over a jumpsuit created some dimension and a different take.

Ok so first I have to explain why I’m obsessed with this bag. One, it sequins. Two, its from the JCPenny and Tracee Ellis Ross collection… and it was only $19.
Once her collection dropped into stores, I was there. Unfortunately by time I got there, the dress I wanted was already sold out in my size but this clutch had Miss Bee written all over it. Anybody that knows me knows that Tracee Ellis Ross is my sheroe (she and hero combined) and for good ass reason. You’ll definitely be seeing more of this bag.
