This quote of the week is inspired by the upcoming new year and all the things I know we all have planned in our head to do and things we want to accomplish. My 2016 year goal was to network more, attend more events, make new, positive friends, and focus on my blog. Half of my goals I didn’t really start until half way through the year when I realized I wasn’t focused on things I should have been.
Luckily I got a burst of motivation and began to make the moves I had planned before 2016 begun. I met some new friends that have inspired me in so many ways and have also been reunited with some old friends where we caught up where we left off. I’ve joined a professional networking group that has introduced me to motivated, smart women and my blog has become a top priority again. I have a couple of exciting collabs coming up that I can’t wait for as well so needless to say 2017 will be the most progressive year for me.
Now to this quote by Bob Marley, “Love the Live You Live, Live the Life You Love”. I feel as though this past year has been the foundation for the upcoming year and everything that’s going to happen. Between work, stress, and everything in between I think we all forget to have fun and actually enjoy what life has to bring. I’ve made it a point not to do that anymore. Whether it’s traveling, being surrounded by fun, positive people, or starting something new, I have to love the life I live!
Make it an effort to do the same.
