The fun part about blogging is that my photographer and I get to explore Houston and see parts we never get to see or even knew existed. For this shoot I wanted to do something fun and colorful so the first thought I had was to shoot in front of a graffiti wall.
This ‘Greetings from Houston’ mural was perfect for what I had in mind. I’m proud to be from Houston and as the years have past, I’m still finding new things it has to offer. Minus the crazy traffic (which drives me crazy!) and the heat during the summer, I really can’t complain about the city I was born and raised in.
I have, I guess you can say, a small obsession with blazers. My wardrobe consist of all many styles from different prints to different colors. The best part about a good blazer is that you can dress them up or dress them down and wear them with almost anything. Almost all of my blazers were bought from thrift stores. Being a huge thrifter, I love finding the next unique piece to add to my closet. I also love a good graphic tee. I got this one from Forever 21 Men’s. Oversize tees are my fav for the summer time and I find the best place to get these are out the men’s section which is what I did here. A good blazer, graphic tee, and jeans is a easy look that anybody can do and pull off.
