I’ve been gearing up for the Fall season for the past couple of weeks and it’s finally here! Summer was too damn hot and ‘aint nobody got time for that’. I’m like bring on the good weather, layered fashion, and everything in between.
Earlier today I visited one of my favorite ‘cheapy’ thrift stores, as I call it, in search for more fall pieces. My first stop is always the men’s section. Over the years I found some great pieces there like oversized sweaters, sweatshirts, and flannel tops. These are my go-tos for the season. Other than that the next thing on my list was an oversized denim jacket which I found and a leather jacket. I didn’t find the right leather jacket but I found some other great pieces like an oversized mustard yellow basic sweatshirt that I know I’ll be wearing a lot.
I found this skirt in a thrift store I stumbled upon by accident. Everything in the store was true vintage almost like everything came straight out of somebody’s grandma’s closet in the best way. The first thing I gravitated to when I walked in was this this polka dot skirt. It’s the perfect length and the print stands out with no extra help needed. You know how some polka dot clothing looks extra cheesy like I’m not trying look childish over here. Anyways I can see myself wearing this throughout the fall season with a cool leather jacket and some booties.
Speaking of shoes my next best thing about this look is these new slide-in heels from ASOS… and they were on sale!
