Last week I received an email through my blog inviting me to a reception for King Ranch Saddle Shop before their big grand opening Friday. This was kind of a big deal because this was my first invite where someone I didn’t know reached out and invited me to an event as a blogger. I don’t know how they found me but I was just happy that someone took the time out to send me an invite so of course I knew I was going.
Because I hadn’t heard of the store before the first thing I did was look them up. Not really my style but a few pieces were actually really cute.
The store consist mainly of leather goods, go-western type apparel, furniture, and accessories. Even though I was the youngest person that didn’t stop anything. This was my opportunity to step outside my shell, I mean my really hard shell, and mingle with people I don’t know. The cool thing was that I actually met another Houston blogger who was really cool and we both shared some interest.

Overall I can I can say I was pleased with my first event invite as a blogger. I met another fellow blogger, seen some really different apparel and merchandise, and looked cute all while doing it!
I wanted to keep my look simple and sleek so this pin stripe romper from ASOS was my number for the evening paired with my fav tan open toe booties to complete the look.
