The Fall semester is right around the corner and back to school shopping is in full effect. For the last minute shoppers I created 3 looks with affordable pieces and fun accessories. Even though most schools wear uniforms, a good fashionista will save her best outfits for games, weekend events, and hanging with friends.
Through out my middle and high school years I went through so many style phases. Tho my style is still versatile I think I’ve narrowed it down a lot. When it comes to school shopping, I think having a list and checking it twice is the best way to go when shopping for exactly what you need for the new school year. I got into dressing preppy once I entered high school. This style includes flannel and button downs, preppy sweaters, and school spirit inspired wear to name a few.
I still dabble in my tomboy grunge look especially when I’m feeling not so girly. I love this style because it’s the perfect mix between edgy but still a little feminine.
I was never much into sports, well except when I played volleyball in 7th grade and sucked, but anyways this look has come full circle and there’s even a new name for it: Athleisure Wear. There’s no reason why you can’t be fabulous in some sweats and basic tee.
I always loved ending my summer with back to school shopping however I didn’t want to spend all my money, or my parents, to get everything I wanted. This is the best time to grab a lot of great clothes while sales are on and coupons are everywhere but you don’t have to get everything at one time. You can’t wear all the clothes at one time anyways. While trends change so much save your money and shop as the semester progresses. Nobody needs everything at one time.
