One style that will probably never go out of style is the obvious: Denim on Denim.

A good denim button down, oversized preferably, is another staple item from my closet that I love for the fall and winter season. I got this one from my local thrift store in the men’s department and it was perfectly starched and crisp. Of course I washed it and that loosened it up a bit to make it super comfy and fitting right.

On another note, I’m so happy to be done with all my Christmas shopping. I bought everything in one day while recovering from a bad cold in all. I was sneezing and coughing all over the place but it had to be done. Just know if you get a gift from me, I literally put my blood, sweat, and tears into getting them. The weather is so bi-polar it makes no sense. I can’t emphasize that enough. It’s cold one day and hot the very next. After plenty of medication, lots of sleep, 2 box of tissues, and some prayer, I’m almost healed from the demons of that cold and back to normal. Amen!

I’ll be headed to Louisiana this weekend to spend some time with the family so the eating will be good and the laughs will be loud.
